What is a Murrine or Millefiori?
Murrines, or Millefiori, are bursts of Venetian tradition. Layered, stretched, and then cut into thin slices, this ancient technique reveals unique, colorful patterns. Used for both jewelry and decorative objects, they embody an ancestral glassmaking art from the island of Murano, near Venice.
